Pierre-Yves is a member of the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec, CPA Ontario, CPA Canada, the Association de planification fiscale et financière, the Canadian Tax Foundation, and the Society of Trust and Estate Planning.
Biography
Pierre-Yves joined the Marcil Lavallée team in 2011 as a partner. Although he started his semi-retirement in January 2021, he remains actively involved with the team as a senior consultant.
With over 30+ years of experience working with SMBs in all business sectors, Pierre-Yves understands our clients’ goals. His sense of rigour and discipline have helped him to build up solid expertise in tax law.
Outside of work, he participates regularly in cancer fundraising efforts like the Cyclotour Santé and the Relay for Life, and has served on a number of committees.
